Since the completion of the original GRASP validation study and official creation of GRASP® Systems over 35 years ago, the GRASP® Methodology has been adopted by hundreds of hospitals around the world. We use the data we collect from each client to continually improve our products, and today GRASP® Systems is the industry leader in WORKLOAD: the quantity of work assigned to an individual, or a group of individuals, over a specified period of time workload management solutions.
Interventions are the external manifestations of the internal processes that nurses and healthcare professionals perform in order to provide care and meet patients' needs. The GRASP® Systems Normal Time and Frequency Database contains more than 1,000 evidence-based patient care interventions.
The core of the GRASP® Methodology is the workload INSTRUMENT: a tool used for measuring the quantity of care that a patient requires instrument. Each instrument contains a specific set of interventions designed to reflect the care that is provided to patients on a particular unit. We know that every hospital is different, and each of our instruments are individually tailored to meet the needs of each client.
